Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental Health Awareness Month

World Mental Health month takes place every year in may. It’s an important time to raise awareness, address and change the current situation of mental health in Ireland, as well as highlighting the affect it can have on all of us. Our families, friends, co-workers, those you don’t know who you pass on the street. It impacts all of us at some point in our lives.

Mental health awareness and young people’s mental health issues are very close to our hearts. With the recent impact of covid and the housing crisis, research has show that 40% of young men and 55% of young women in Ireland are classified as depressed.

We have a long standing friendship with Jigsaw charity, with 2.5% of our profits from our sales going to the organisation and the incredible work they do. You can read more about Jigsaw and their wonderful work on their website here.

With our jewellery, we hope to encourage and spark conversations around the importance of mental health supports. We hope that our products bring a touch of joy and light to your life, whatever you may be going through.

A PÓG is a hand reaching out in the darkness, a tight hug from a friend to let you know we’re here for you. A kiss from a loved one, when you most need it.

Our mental health is our wealth, and this month and every month, we strive to continue to raise awareness and support well needed mental health services in Ireland.

Love boldly always.
