PÓG in Howth!

PÓG in Howth!

Yesterday, we took a trip to Howth Harbour. Join us for things to do, useful info and seals!

Howth is a beautiful seaside town, situated in County Dublin, just a 30-minute train ride from Dublin City centre. It is small but beautiful, with plenty to see and do. Fancy some shopping? Why not visit Howth Market (open on weekends and bank holidays). Looking for a unique memento? Bring back a meaningful gift from one of the many local craft and jewellery stalls. Feeling peckish? There are a huge variety of cuisines to choose from: crêpes, quesadillas, cakes, pizza and not forgetting the traditional seaside favourite: fish and chips!

Howth Market: lots to see and do!

Once you’ve filled up on the good stuff, take a stroll along the Howth Cliff Path Loop. This steep and pretty lengthy trek is worth the effort; the stunning views of the Irish sea and the fresh air will make you happy you did it!

Stunning views of the Irish Sea

As well as the walking, you will likely be able to spot a seal or two! These grey seals have long, dog-like faces, making them look super cute! They can be spotted all around the harbour so it’s easy to snap a picture.

Beautiful grey seals!
